Authentic Ukrainian food served in a Ukrainian church. The food is delicious. The price is reasonable.
This place lives up the hype. To be clear, there is nothing fancy here. But they serve up delicious, home-style food for very reasonable prices. We’ve had their Pork Schnitzel with pirogies, and their meat cabbage rolls. Both were excellent (don’t sleep on their cold slaws - they are awesome!) We’re already planning a return visit to try the borscht, their sausages and their fruit pirogies. We’ll update this review when we’ve tried those. Total for two plates: 44 (tax & tip included) Highly recommended.
Authentic Ukrainian food, cozy atmosphere and friendly staff! They also have different types of cheesecake and affordable but delicious coffee. Sincerely recommend to everyone!
Great local spot for Ukrainian and Eastern European food. Very sweet staff and tasty food! I will be back!
What a lovely hidden gem. I had the borscht and the mixed perogy plate. Delicious!! Loved the dill flavouring in the two kinds of coleslaw. Loved all of it! I also brought back nice memories from the church basement growing up, where dinners were held. A nice, homey place to visit (especially for us, with a dear family member in Toronto Western Hospital up the street).
Very delicious! As a Ukrainian I can guarantee they have absolutely delicious Borscht and very yummy Varenyky/Pierogies with sour cherries! The service is great, felt like home!
Me and a friend went to eat in for lunch a few weeks ago and it was absolutely delicious! My friend who lived in Ukraine as a child assured me that the food was super authentic and I could believe it as everything was so good. I really recommend the borscht and the split pea chebureck as they were 'heavenly'!
I tried Heavenly Perogy for the first time during the street festival on College St. and can't wait to go to the full restaurant. Ukranian comfort food is the best! I wish I could remember the name of the pastry I tried. It was beef and pork in a light fried dough. It was delicious.
